As undergraduate students at the Unversity of British Columbia, we, the founders of Pocket Ace Productions, were executive members of UBC Persian Club, a non-profit student organization. At that time, we took part in organizing numerous gatherings and cultural events in Vancouver which aimed at exploring and bridging Iranian, Canadian, and other cultures. These activities gave us the opportunity to deal with general public directly and also make valuable and strong connections not only in the Persian community, but among other ethnic groups as well. On 2004, we decided to use our experience to expand our activities by organizing and promoting Persian concerts in Vancouver. Since then we have been the major force behind many successful Persian events in Vancouver's premier venues ranging from Queen Elizabeth Theatre to Orpheum Theatre to Centre for Performing Arts to Commodore Ballroom, and Centennial Theatre. |
We established Pocket Ace Productions in 2005 to expand not only the scale of our operation, but also the scope and range of our business to include planning and executing advertising strategies for other companies and clients. Our academic background coupled with our hands-on experience and knowledge in this field have given us a unique understanding on how to approach the ethnic community and advertise a product in order to get the maximum result. Having originally come from the client side of the business, we understand what clients need from their advertising agency to help build their brands and promote their product. Our mission is simple: To serve our clients the way we would like to be served: with flexibility, strategy and alliance. We take the time to understand our clients' needs, and employ the best business practices for them. |
